At the end of August Chloe and I headed off on a bit of a road trip to photograph a couple of weddings in a weekend, and one of which was Kat & Tom’s in Sussex.. and it just so happened to be in one of my favourite villages in Sussex – Cuckfield.

I first met Kat & Tom for their pre-wedding shoot in Bath, where although in different years, we had coincidentally all been to University.  So we met at the bar ‘The Salamander’ and it definitely brought back a few memories from those good old days!  We then had a wander around the City, the Royal Crescent, Poultenay Bridge and a few other old haunts.

Anyway, back to Kat & Tom’s wedding.  It was such a relaxing day as all held in the same village and we were able to walk to and from where Kat & Tom got ready to the church then over to the Ockenden Manor.  Following the ceremony guests enjoyed the sounds of Ashmore Acoustics on the lawn.  They were simply amazing and stuck around later to entertain guests in the evening for the dancing.  These guys literally rocked the dancefloor.

It was such wonderful day and amazing to be part of it.  Tom’s twin brother James (Best Man) gave such an amazing speech and it was very heart warming to see such close family come together to celebrate all in one place.

Mr & Mrs Rose, thank you for choosing us to capture the day.  Thanks also of course to Chloe for second shooting and coming on the road trip!  x
